It’s almost Christmas, friends! We’re a little over a week out from gathering with loved ones to celebrate the arrival of Jesus Christ. For hundreds of years, God’s people continually cried out for someone to come and rescue and save them. He’s finally arrived.
For unto us a Child is born,Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be calledWonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Unto us a child has been born. The Savior of the world has come to us—fully God and fully man—and we are invited to receive Him. He’s the greatest gift we could ever imagine.
Now that He’s arrived we have the opportunity to cry out to Him—no longer crying out in the midst of our afflictions or in need of a Savior, but crying out in praise and thankfulness. He has come for us. He has come for the shepherds and the wise men and everyone in between, and we have all received grace through His life and death.
Kingdom Tribe has compiled a few of our favorite Christmas hymns and songs. You’ll find some familiar classics, and hopefully rediscover your own favorites with a few fresh renditions. Regardless of old or new, we pray that you will be encouraged by the songs we’ve included. God has always heard His people and He hears us now. He hears us in every prayer in every lyric and in every tune. Unto us a child has been born.
